ABOUT

Hoffmann and compiled by the historian Prof. Karl Scheidl. The illustrations show the Doric temple in Paestum (southern Italy), the Ionic Nike temple in Athens and the Corinthian Olympeion in Athens, each in frontal view, elevation and ground plan and compared to the great one of a human being. Below are also detailed images of the column styles belonging to these three styles. It got printed by the famous Hoffmandruck in Vienna. Despite their age, the condition of the prints is as good as new, the drawings and illustrations are highly professional, the colors are beautiful and well preserved!
